Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment. To help alleviate soreness or to keep it at a minimum, rehydrate your body by increasing water intake, take an anti-inflammatory medication if possible, and use an ice pack for 15 to 20 minutes, 3 rounds, off and on. Soreness typically subsides after 1-2 days.

Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, pregnancy massage helps relieve pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy.
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for people who desire to increase flexibility and mobility. Stretching is a major part of the session. Engaging in physical activities can be harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pain in the body, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates.
Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing adhesions, also known as knots, in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension in the body. These knots are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques in order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and transformative. Like Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy can be uncomfortable at times. Soreness can be combated through proper hydration, the use of ice packs, and anti-inflammatory medication.
This is the most popular massage in my practice. With this particular style, I don't limit the technique used. I allow my hands to be my ears and I listen to what your body needs. Each massage will be tailored to your specific needs.
